Bold Heist: Three Humvees and Military Gear Vanish from California Army Reserve Center

In a brazen act of theft, three Humvees and a substantial amount of military equipment were stolen from an Army Reserve Center in Tustin, California. The incident, which occurred sometime between 8 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, involved unauthorized entry into a storage warehouse at the facility. Tustin police reported that the perpetrators bypassed multiple storage locker locks, making off with a significant cache of gear. An attempt to breach the uniform storage area proved unsuccessful.

The thieves didn't stop there. They cut through a perimeter fence to access a military vehicle parking lot, where the three Humvees were parked. Among the stolen items were one armored Humvee, two soft-top Humvees, eight vehicle-mounted machine gun mounts, seven freestanding machine gun tripods, 40 pairs of binoculars, 18 bayonets, and various medical supplies.
