A chemical mishap at the Southwest Cheese factory in Clovis, New Mexico, resulted in injuries to twenty employees on Monday. Around 9:15 a.m., a mixture of approximately 8.67 gallons of acid and 0.61 gallons of chlorine was inadvertently created due to an equipment malfunction, releasing hazardous fumes within a section of the facility. Emergency services promptly responded to the scene.
