Get ready for a burst of citrus! Coca-Cola is launching a brand new flavor, Coca-Cola Orange Cream, hitting shelves nationwide on February 10th. This innovative beverage blends the classic Coca-Cola taste with a refreshing orange twist and a smooth vanilla finish. A zero-sugar option will also be available for those looking for a lighter alternative.
The company stated that this new flavor was developed in direct response to consumer demand for the nostalgic taste of orange cream. Sue Lynne Cha, Vice President of Marketing for Coca-Cola North America, emphasized that the goal is to reconnect consumers with a cherished flavor profile while also exploring new taste frontiers.
This isn't the first time Coca-Cola has ventured into flavored variations. Since Diet Coke's debut in 1983, the company has released over two dozen different versions. While some, like Coca-Cola Orange Vanilla and Coca-Cola with Coffee, have been discontinued, others, such as Coca-Cola Zero Sugar and Coca-Cola Cherry, remain popular staples.
The recent discontinuation of the Spiced flavor paved the way for this exciting 2025 launch. Interestingly, shortly before the recent presidential inauguration, Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO James Quincey presented a commemorative bottle of Diet Coke to former President Donald Trump. This limited-edition bottle, not available for purchase, celebrated the 47th President of the United States.
Former President Trump's preference for Diet Coke is well-documented, even leading to the reinstatement of the "Diet Coke button" in the Oval Office during his presidency.
