He reiterated this offer on "Hannity," sharing his own experiences of being targeted by the Turkish government, including arrest warrants and a bounty on his head. Kanter Freedom, who has been a vocal critic of Turkish President Recep Erdogan, adopted the surname "Freedom" after becoming a U.S. citizen.
He stressed the importance of appreciating the freedoms enjoyed in the U.S., noting that criticizing governments in certain other countries could lead to severe consequences. Kanter Freedom shared his experience celebrating Independence Day in Utah, observing the emotional impact of patriotic displays on Americans. He emphasized that freedom is a fundamental human need, second only to basic necessities like air, water, and food.
