The body of a fishing charter captain has been found near Low Island, Alaska, more than a week after the discovery of his partially submerged vessel. Morgan Robidou, 32, of Sitka, was recovered on Thursday, bringing a somber resolution to a search that began on May 2nd. The boat, named the Awakin, was located approximately ten miles west of Sitka, carrying Robidou and four passengers.

Three of the passengers have also been recovered: Maury Agcaoili, 57, and his wife Danielle Agcaoili, 53, from Waipahu, Hawaii, and Danielle's sister, Brandi Tyau, 56, from Canoga Park, California. The search continues for the fourth passenger, Robert Solis, 61, Tyau's partner.
The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation, with authorities working to determine the cause of the boat's partial submersion. The Awakin has since been salvaged and returned to Sitka.
