A disturbing 911 call has surfaced, shedding light on the recent arrest of former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, Kadarius Toney. The call, obtained by TMZ, features Toney's girlfriend alleging a physical altercation where she claims he strangled her while she was seven months pregnant.
The incident reportedly took place on January 14th in Douglasville, Georgia. In the audio, the woman, who remains unidentified, describes the event as an "altercation" that escalated with Toney becoming physically abusive. She states, "He put his hands on me while holding my daughter, and I’m seven months pregnant." The woman further explains she had to flee her home and made the call from a neighbor's residence.

According to TMZ Sports, Toney is accused of applying pressure to the woman's throat with enough force to impede her breathing. He's also accused of confiscating her phone to prevent her from seeking help. Reports indicate the woman had visible marks on her neck and experienced eye hemorrhaging. Toney is facing charges of aggravated assault-strangulation and obstructing/harassing 911 calls.

Drafted 20th overall in 2021 by the New York Giants, Toney's NFL career has been marked by both flashes of brilliance and controversy. Traded to the Chiefs mid-season in 2022, he notably contributed to their Super Bowl LVII victory with a record-breaking punt return and a crucial touchdown. However, injuries sidelined him for the Chiefs' Super Bowl LVIII run, and he was released by the team. He briefly played for the Cleveland Browns in 2024 but did not record any receptions.

Fox News Digital's attempts to contact Toney's representatives for a statement have been unsuccessful.
