IRS Whistleblowers Expose DOJ Interference in Hunter Biden Case, GOP Congressman Claims

Ohio Republican Representative Mike Turner, a member of the House Oversight Committee, has accused the Department of Justice (DOJ) of interfering in the Hunter Biden investigation based on compelling testimony from two IRS whistleblowers. Turner, speaking on "America's Newsroom," argued that the whistleblowers provided concrete proof that the DOJ disregarded "significant crimes" related to Hunter Biden's finances, while Democrats continue to ignore the "facts."

Turner emphasized the credibility of the whistleblowers, stating they had direct access to Hunter Biden's financial and bank records, detailing specific transactions rather than relying on hearsay. He also highlighted their firsthand accounts of conversations with DOJ attorneys, further solidifying the claims of interference. According to Turner, this testimony provides "hard evidence" of DOJ intervention on behalf of the Bidens.

The congressman expressed his frustration with the Democratic response, claiming they refused to engage with the whistleblowers' substantive testimony, which presented clear evidence of tax crimes. He further alleged that the DOJ deliberately allowed the statute of limitations to expire on certain crimes committed in 2014 and 2015, preventing criminal prosecution.

Democrats slammed for trying to 'score cheap political points' in hearing with Biden whistleblowers

House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) praised the hearing featuring the two whistleblowers, highlighting the nonpartisan nature of the testimony by pointing out that one of the whistleblowers, Joseph Ziegler, identifies as a Democrat. Comer criticized Democrats for their alleged unfamiliarity with handling substantial evidence, contrasting their approach with that of Representatives Adam Schiff and Jamie Raskin, whom he accused of fabricating claims. He stressed the irrefutable nature of bank records as compelling evidence in the investigation.
