After nearly two years away from the spotlight, legendary actor Jack Nicholson, 87, made a rare public appearance at the star-studded 50th-anniversary celebration of "Saturday Night Live" held at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York City on February 16th.

The three-time Oscar winner joined a galaxy of A-list celebrities, including Jon Hamm, Ryan Reynolds, Drew Barrymore, Robert De Niro, Alec Baldwin, Steve Martin, Emma Stone, and Scarlett Johansson, who came together to commemorate the iconic show's milestone.
Nicholson's appearance was particularly noteworthy given his extended absence from public view. He was last seen publicly in May 2023 at a Los Angeles Lakers game. Earlier this year, he appeared in a heartwarming Instagram post shared by his daughter, Lorraine, capturing a tender moment between them.
During the SNL celebration, Nicholson introduced comedian Adam Sandler, his co-star from the 2003 film "Anger Management," who performed a special song chronicling the history of SNL. Sandler expressed his appreciation for Nicholson's presence, exclaiming, "Yeah, baby! Let’s hear it for Jack, baby! Jack made it out tonight! Love you, brother!"

Nicholson's illustrious career spans five decades, marked by memorable roles and numerous accolades. His breakout role as George Hanson in the 1969 film "Easy Rider" earned him his first Oscar nomination. He went on to win three Academy Awards: Best Actor for "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "As Good as it Gets," and Best Supporting Actor for "Terms of Endearment."
