Off-Duty Missouri Deputy Killed in Motorcycle Crash Involving Suspected Drunk Driver

A Missouri sheriff's deputy tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident involving a suspected drunk driver. Steven Tucker, 60, of Troy, was riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle off-duty on Saturday evening when a car crossed the center line and collided with him head-on. The incident occurred on a two-lane road around 7:25 p.m. Tucker had recently joined the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office earlier this year.

Missouri Deputy Killed in Motorcycle Crash

The 35-year-old driver of the car sustained serious injuries and was taken to the hospital. The Missouri State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash. The sheriff's office posted on Facebook alleging that the driver of the car was intoxicated, emphasizing the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. As of Sunday, no arrest had been made in connection with the incident.
