Police Seek Driver of Black Jeep Who Allegedly Stalked Schoolgirls in Northern California

Authorities in Northern California are searching for a man driving a black Jeep who allegedly stalked a group of girls as they walked home from school on Friday afternoon. The Santa Rosa Police Department received multiple calls around 4:30 p.m. reporting a suspicious vehicle near Lemur Street and Providence Court. Witnesses described the driver as a White adult male, approximately 25 years old, with light brown hair and a beard. He's estimated to be around 5 feet 5 inches tall and weigh between 120 and 130 pounds.

According to reports, the driver repeatedly drove slowly alongside the girls, sometimes even reversing against traffic to follow them. He attempted to gain their attention through hand gestures and by playing loud pop music typically favored by teenagers. While he didn't speak to the girls directly, his actions were perceived as an attempt to lure them into his vehicle. At one point, he reportedly gestured towards the back seat of his Jeep.
