The Cincinnati Reds achieved a remarkable feat on Wednesday, extending their winning streak to an impressive 11 games, their longest in 66 years. This accomplishment came after a thrilling 5-3 victory over the Colorado Rockies, completing a three-game sweep.

The Reds, currently leading the NL Central with a 40-35 record, trailed 3-0 after four innings but rallied back, showcasing their resilience. Jake Fraley's tiebreaking two-run homer in the eighth inning proved decisive. This victory also marked the Reds' 12th comeback win this season, the most in the majors.

Rookie sensation Elly De La Cruz set the stage for Fraley's heroics with a clutch double. Fraley then capitalized, sending the next pitch over the right-field wall for his ninth home run of the season.

Reds rookie pitcher Andrew Abbott, despite surrendering his first career run on a leadoff homer by Brenton Doyle, delivered a strong performance. Abbott struck out a career-high 10 batters in six innings, allowing only three runs, all on solo home runs.

The Rockies, concluding a challenging 10-day road trip, have a much-needed day off on Thursday before starting a nine-game homestand against the Los Angeles Angels on Friday. The Reds, riding their impressive winning streak, will host the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves in a three-game series starting Friday.
