Actress Rosanna Arquette, known for films like "Pulp Fiction" and "Desperately Seeking Susan," drove her car into a Malibu shopping center on Tuesday, July 11th. The incident occurred around 9:45 a.m. at the Point Dume Village, a shopping area on the west end of Malibu. Arquette's vehicle reportedly went through a glass partition and came to a stop just outside a restaurant.

Emergency responders from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived at the scene. While the building sustained damage, with three support pillars taken out, thankfully no one was injured. Two tables were situated near the point of impact, but they were unoccupied at the time. Fire Captain Mike Rivera, from Station 71, stated that the exact cause of the incident was unclear, noting that Arquette's vehicle went forward instead of reversing, leading to the collision. The building was subsequently assessed for structural safety.

The Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Department confirmed that Arquette, 63, was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure. Deputy Navarro indicated that it appeared Arquette may have lost control of her vehicle. Authorities stated that there was no indication of impairment from drugs or alcohol. The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Arquette's representatives have not yet commented on the incident.
