President Biden's recent "God Save the Queen" remark at the end of a gun control summit in Connecticut has left many perplexed, including his own aides. According to Axios, White House principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton offered little clarification, simply stating that the President "was commenting to someone in the crowd." Axios reports that Biden's staff are often bewildered by his unusual expressions.

This isn't the first time Biden has employed peculiar language. He previously referred to a student who questioned his performance in the 2020 Iowa caucuses as a "lying dog-faced pony-soldier." He revisited this phrase during the Connecticut event, invoking it in reference to the approaching storm.
Biden also offered an explanation for his inability to shake hands with attendees, attributing it to the impending weather. He then uttered the "God Save the Queen" remark, leaving observers puzzled.

Axios speculates that Biden, being of Irish descent, may use the phrase "God Save the Queen" sarcastically. However, both former and current aides admit to uncertainty about the remark's intended meaning. The incident has further fueled discussions surrounding the president's age and fitness for office, with figures like Hillary Clinton acknowledging age as a legitimate factor for voters to consider in the upcoming 2024 election.
