She expressed outrage over reports of funds being allocated to what she described as questionable international programs, emphasizing the need for greater financial accountability. President Trump's executive orders, intended to freeze certain government expenditures, have encountered legal challenges, with judges questioning the administration's authority to implement such measures.

Bondi criticized a district judge's decision to block these efforts, framing it as an example of judicial overreach. DOGE head Elon Musk echoed these concerns on social media, alleging that FEMA funds intended for disaster relief were being diverted to house migrants in luxury hotels.
Bondi also addressed concerns about internal leaks regarding ICE raids, which reportedly compromised law enforcement operations. She condemned these leaks, emphasizing the potential danger they posed to both officers and the public. Trump's border czar, Tom Homan, suggested that the leaks originated from within the government and indicated that an investigation was underway.
