Congresswoman Nancy Mace has voiced concerns regarding President Biden's cognitive state following an incident where he departed the set of an MSNBC interview prematurely. During a Friday appearance on "Fox & Friends First," Mace expressed her worry, stating that the president's decline is becoming increasingly apparent and "difficult to witness." She drew a sharp contrast between Biden's performance in interviews and that of former President Trump, who she noted readily participates in challenging interviews and town halls. Mace found it perplexing that anyone would accept the current administration's narrative, given the president's struggles. She expressed empathy for the president, comparing her feelings to those she experiences with her aging parents, and stated her belief that Biden should not be in office.

The incident in question occurred during a live interview with MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace, which centered primarily on the Supreme Court's decision regarding affirmative action. After approximately 20 minutes of questioning, President Biden unexpectedly rose from his seat and walked off the set while Wallace was still on air. This abrupt exit has drawn criticism, with commentators like Brian Kilmeade pointing out the president's recurring difficulty navigating entrances and exits, calling this particular departure “bizarre.” Kilmeade’s co-host, Steve Doocy, also noted numerous crucial questions Wallace failed to ask during the interview.
