Jane Seymour Shelters Former Co-star Joe Lando and Family After Devastating Wildfire Destroys Their Home

Following the devastating Palisades Fire in Los Angeles, actress Jane Seymour has opened her Malibu home to her former "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" co-star, Joe Lando, and his family after they lost everything in the blaze. Lando shared the news in an emotional Instagram video, expressing gratitude for Seymour's immediate and generous offer of shelter.

Lando, his wife Kirsten Barlow, and their three children are currently residing with Seymour. In the video, Lando described the dire circumstances faced by those in the affected area, including power outages, lack of gas, and contaminated water and air. He expressed heartbreak for his community, emphasizing that the fire has impacted everyone, regardless of their economic status.

The actor highlighted the resilience of his neighbors, many of whom are hardworking families who have lived in the area for generations. He shared the devastating news that his wife's parents, who lived nearby, also lost their home of over 40 years. Lando's own home, while not extravagant, represented years of hard work and held cherished memories.

Lando and Seymour shared the screen for six seasons on "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman" (1993-1998) and have maintained a close friendship. They recently reunited for the 2022 Lifetime movie "A Christmas Spark." This is not the first time Seymour has faced the threat of wildfires; her own home was recently threatened by the Franklin Fire that swept through Malibu in early December, forcing her to evacuate.
