Cowboys Cheerleader Accidentally Hit by Errant Kickoff, Commanders Secure Victory

A thrilling Week 18 clash between the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Commanders featured an unexpected twist involving a Cowboys cheerleader. During a routine kickoff, kicker Brandon Aubrey's attempt went astray, sailing out of bounds and striking a cheerleader in the back of the head after an NFL cameraman failed to catch it. Social media suggests the cheerleader was first-year member Michelle Siemienowski. Fortunately, she appeared to be unharmed and even laughed about the incident afterward, receiving support from her teammates and Commanders punter Tress Way.

In July, Siemienowski shared her excitement about joining the iconic cheerleading squad on Instagram, describing it as a lifelong dream come true. Back on the field, the game continued with high stakes for both teams. The Commanders, trailing by three points late in the fourth quarter, aimed to finish the season strong. Quarterback Marcus Mariota, filling in for Jayden Daniels, led a decisive drive, culminating in a game-winning touchdown pass to Terry McLaurin on the final play. This victory secured the Commanders the sixth seed in the playoffs, improving their postseason positioning.
