Disillusioned Democratic Fundraiser Says Party is in "Shambles"

Following the presidential election, a former key fundraiser for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Lindy Li, expressed her deep dissatisfaction with the party's current state in an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital. Li, who has a history of raising substantial funds for Democratic campaigns, described the party as "completely rudderless" and revealed widespread discontent among donors.

Li, who publicly left the Democratic Party in December after facing criticism for her stance on then-nominee Kamala Harris, shared her perspective with Fox News Digital after the inauguration of President Trump. She painted a bleak picture of the party, stating that Democratic donors are universally "angry and upset," believing the party is in "complete shambles."

Li attributes the party's decline to what she calls a "hijacking" by "woke" ideology, which she describes as the party's "religion" and "god." She criticizes the focus on "trans, woke insanity," arguing that it's driving away both corporate support and potential voters. Li likens the current climate to "gender hysteria" and a "social contagion."

Li also touched upon the controversy surrounding celebrity appearances at Harris campaign events. While artists like Beyoncé and Cardi B denied accepting payments for their appearances, Li alleges that their production companies were indeed compensated. She further suggested that Beyoncé's non-performance at a specific event was a calculated move by the campaign to garner publicity.

Looking ahead, Li expressed concern about the lack of clear leadership within the Democratic Party, stating that there's "no one on the horizon" to guide them into the next election cycle. She also noted the positive reception she has received from Republicans, expressing optimism about her future fundraising efforts for Republican candidates.
