A shooting incident in Bladensburg, Maryland has left five people injured and hospitalized. The incident prompted road closures at the intersection of Annapolis Road and Bladensburg Road in Colmar Manor as authorities investigate. Bladensburg police announced a news briefing to provide updates on the shooting, held at the Bladensburg Waterfront Park.
According to reports, the shooting took place in the 4300 block of Bladensburg Rd. FOX 5 DC reported that five individuals were transported to the hospital, with three in critical condition.
The Edmonston Police Department is assisting with the investigation. Residents were advised to avoid the 4300 Block of Bladensburg Rd. due to the incident.
