A former high school teacher in Virginia is facing charges after allegedly selling vape cartridges containing THC and nicotine to students. Kaitlyn Crescent was arrested by Fairfax County Police in early January following an investigation into incidents at Falls Church High School.
Child Protective Services initially received a report on October 24, 2024, alleging that a teacher was selling vape cartridges to students. Detectives launched an investigation and discovered that Crescent, 28, allegedly sold the cartridges to four students between December 2023 and June 2024.

Crescent faces charges of Contributing to the Delinquency of a Minor, Distribution of a Controlled Substance on School Property, and Distribution of Tobacco/Hemp to a Minor. She was released on a $4,000 bond. Fairfax County Public Schools confirmed that Crescent was employed by the district from August 2021 until her termination on December 31, 2024. A LinkedIn profile appearing to belong to Crescent listed her as a learning disabilities teacher.
