Celebrity chef Guy Fieri believes America is on the upswing. At his Flavortown Tailgate event in New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX, Fieri shared his optimistic outlook with Fox News Digital, suggesting the country has undergone a significant positive shift.
Amidst heightened security due to the presence of both former President Donald Trump and Taylor Swift, Fieri noted the vigilance of first responders and expressed confidence in the nation's trajectory. He stated his belief that America is returning to its position as a global leader, emphasizing the importance of both a good time and a safe time for everyone.

The chef emphasized the importance of partnerships in making the free event possible, highlighting the collaborative effort to bring a Super Bowl experience to New Orleans residents.

This year's Flavortown Tailgate boasted performances by Diplo, Flavor Flav, and Cowboy Mouth, along with a wide array of food and beverage options.

Fieri expressed his gratitude for the sponsors and his team, ensuring a memorable experience for the 'residents of Flavortown.' He also proudly announced breaking the attendance record set at the previous year's tailgate in Las Vegas, attributing the success to the free ticket giveaway.

Furthermore, Fieri highlighted the allocation of 2,000 tickets specifically for first responders, active military personnel, and veterans, facilitated by Carnival. Beyond the large-scale event, Fieri shared his personal Super Bowl food preferences, emphasizing indulgent treats like nachos, wings, pizza, and jalapeño poppers.

For Fieri, food is an essential part of the Super Bowl experience, whether at a massive tailgate or enjoying the game at home.
