A 16-year-old boy from northeast Georgia faces juvenile charges after allegedly firing a pellet gun at numerous vehicles traveling on Interstate 985 near Flowery Branch. One woman sustained a minor injury to the back of her head and is expected to make a full recovery. The incident occurred on Sunday as the targeted vehicles were heading northbound on the interstate.

Hall County Sheriff's deputies confirmed the arrest and stated that the teenager is currently facing charges of aggravated assault and terroristic threats and acts. Authorities believe the number of affected vehicles could exceed ten and are encouraging anyone who may have experienced similar damage along that stretch of I-985 on Sunday to contact the Hall County Sheriff's Office. The investigation is ongoing, and additional charges are anticipated as deputies continue processing reports from other drivers whose vehicles were damaged.
Following his arrest, the juvenile was released into the custody of juvenile authorities.
