Country rapper Jelly Roll has revealed his dream collaborators: Hollywood A-listers Johnny Depp and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. During the CMA Fest, Jelly Roll shared his aspirations with Fox News Digital, expressing his desire to have Depp play guitar on one of his tracks. "Even if it wasn't publicly announced, just knowing Depp played on my record would be incredible," he confessed.

Jelly Roll extended a formal invitation to Depp, proposing a performance at the Grand Ole Opry alongside himself and Johnson. He praised Depp's guitar skills, emphasizing his admiration for the actor's musical talent.
The rising country star also discussed his unexpected friendship with Dwayne Johnson, revealing that the actor had reached out to him, explaining how Jelly Roll's music helped him through challenging times. Johnson has consistently supported Jelly Roll, sending him video messages for major milestones, like his Grand Ole Opry invitation. Jelly Roll described Johnson as a "quiet champion" and expressed his gratitude for the actor's support.

Johnson recently highlighted Jelly Roll's new album, "Whitsitt Chapel," on Instagram, praising his authenticity and passion. He recalled how Jelly Roll's music had helped him personally years ago, further solidifying their bond.

Jelly Roll, whose real name is Jason Bradley DeFord, has been open about his past struggles, including time spent incarcerated. He now actively participates in programs that bring music to jails in Tennessee. The 38-year-old father of two is married to Bunnie DeFord (Bunnie XO). He recently won three awards at the CMT Music Awards and has collaborated with other country artists, including Lainey Wilson.
