Country music icon Lee Greenwood, renowned for his patriotic anthem "God Bless the USA," is launching a significant initiative to honor America's veterans. He's transforming a tribute concert into a heartwarming opportunity to express gratitude to those who've served.
Greenwood shared with Fox News Digital his belief in his calling to support the nation, its families, and veterans. The upcoming film, "All-Star Salute to Lee Greenwood," premieres in theaters on Sunday, November 12th, featuring a star-studded lineup of musical performances by artists like Dustin Lynch, Lee Brice, Michael W. Smith, The Isaacs, The Oak Ridge Boys, and many more. The public can sponsor veteran attendance, sending a vet and their guest to this special premiere.

Greenwood expressed his amazement at the number of artists who participated and his excitement about sharing the premiere with veterans, first responders, and country music enthusiasts. This one-night event coincides with Veterans Day weekend, serving as a fitting tribute to those who have served. Partnering with Concerts 4 A Cause, Greenwood aims to provide 50,000 veterans nationwide with free access to the film.

Beyond "God Bless the USA"
While "God Bless the USA" is a staple at military retirements and has been performed at iconic events like the Super Bowl and post-9/11 World Series, Greenwood emphasizes that his career extends beyond this one song. He actively tours and continues to create music, acknowledging the song's impact while maintaining a diverse and productive career.
William Lee Golden of The Oak Ridge Boys, one of the many performers in the concert event, expressed his enthusiasm for honoring veterans and celebrating Greenwood's 40-year career. T. Graham Brown, another participating artist, shared his admiration for Greenwood and the honor of being part of the tribute.

A Legacy of Service and Music
Greenwood's career boasts performances for nine US presidents, a testament to his enduring appeal and patriotism. He performed for President Reagan, at four presidential inaugurations, including Donald Trump's in 2017. Greenwood also expresses deep gratitude for his wife, Kim, and their family.
