Massachusetts Mother Seriously Injured in Road Rage Incident After Fender Bender

A shocking road rage incident in Attleboro, Massachusetts, left a 31-year-old mother with serious injuries after a minor traffic accident. Hailea Soares, a mother of two, was driving on Friday morning when she rear-ended another vehicle that had braked suddenly. According to Soares, the driver, later identified as 26-year-old Gladior Kwesiah, had been erratically braking before the collision.

Hailea Soares, 31, suffered serious injuries when she was body-slammed during a shocking road-rage attack Friday.

Following the fender bender, the situation escalated dramatically. Kwesiah allegedly exited his vehicle and physically assaulted Soares, culminating in him body-slamming her onto the pavement. Soares recounted attempting to document the damage to her car when Kwesiah grabbed her phone. The violent attack left her with a broken knee, a broken foot, an injured eye socket, and a significant head wound, requiring treatment at Sturdy Memorial Hospital.

Gladior Kwesiah, a 26-year-old Rhode Island resident, then pulled Soares out of her vehicle after a minor fender bender, according to the Attleboro Police Department.

Attleboro Police swiftly apprehended Kwesiah at the scene. He faces charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious injury, malicious destruction of property, and driving without a license. He is currently held on $25,000 bail. Attleboro police Sgt. Kevin Sellers condemned the incident, highlighting the disproportionate response to a minor traffic collision.

Kweshia was arrested on scene and charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon resulting in serious injury, malicious destruction of property and driving without a license, per the Attleboro Police Department. He is being held behind bars on $25,000 bail.

Soares expressed relief at surviving the ordeal and questioned Kwesiah's suitability for society given his violent behavior. A GoFundMe campaign has been established to assist with Soares' medical expenses, raising nearly $29,000 as of Tuesday afternoon.
