Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Demarcus Robinson will not face team discipline following his arrest on suspicion of DUI early Monday morning. Robinson was reportedly driving over 100 mph just hours after the Rams' loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.
California Highway Patrol officers observed Robinson's white Dodge sedan exceeding 100 mph on U.S. Route 101 around 5:10 a.m. They reported observing signs of alcohol impairment and subsequently arrested the 30-year-old receiver. He was cited and released.

Head Coach Sean McVay confirmed that Robinson will play in the upcoming game against the New Orleans Saints. McVay acknowledged Robinson's poor decision-making but expressed belief in his character, stating, "I think it was a bad decision he made. I don't think that makes him a bad person." McVay added that he believes the team will learn from the incident and that Robinson is remorseful.

In the game against the Eagles, Robinson had two receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown. Currently in his second season with the Rams, he has started all 11 games, recording 26 receptions for 384 yards and a team-high six touchdowns.

A 2016 fourth-round NFL Draft pick, Robinson spent a significant portion of his career with the Kansas City Chiefs, winning a Super Bowl with them in February 2020.
