A California woman has received a two-year federal prison sentence for attempting to firebomb a Bank of America branch due to her frustration with a long wait time. In September 2021, 35-year-old Teranee Millet entered the Torrance bank and requested service from a different teller, believing her wait had been excessive. After being informed that no other tellers were available, Millet reportedly threatened to detonate the bank. She left briefly, only to return with a Molotov cocktail, which she then threw into the bank's interior. Fortunately, a customer extinguished the flames before any serious damage occurred. Millet then fled the scene after confronting another customer and throwing a glass bottle at their vehicle. No injuries were reported. Approximately two months later, Millet was apprehended in Georgia following a police pursuit involving a stolen U-Haul van. Authorities discovered materials consistent with Molotov cocktail construction inside the vehicle, including glass bottles with tissue paper inserts, lighter fluid, and gasoline.
