The Franklin Fire, which ignited near Pepperdine University Monday night, has spread to over 4,000 acres and is currently 7% contained. Numerous other celebrities, including Dick Van Dyke and Mira Sorvino, have also evacuated the area. Van Dyke shared on Facebook that he and his wife Arlene evacuated with their animals, though one cat escaped during the process. He later posted a video hoping for the cat's safety. Sorvino confirmed her family's safe evacuation on X (formerly Twitter), sending prayers to her Malibu neighbors and friends.
