Triple H Announced as First Inductee into WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025

In a surprising turn of events at WWE headquarters, Paul "Triple H" Levesque learned he will be the inaugural member of the 2025 Hall of Fame class. The announcement came as a shock orchestrated by WWE CEO Nick Khan, along with wrestling legends Shawn Michaels and The Undertaker.

This induction will recognize Levesque's individual wrestling career, adding to his previous Hall of Fame entry as part of D-Generation X with Shawn Michaels. Their partnership was a cornerstone of the "Monday Night Wars" against WCW in the late 1990s.

Levesque expressed his surprise and gratitude, particularly towards Nick Khan, whom he considers a close business partner. He recounted the unexpected interruption by Michaels and The Undertaker during a company address, leaving him momentarily speechless.

A decorated 14-time world champion, Levesque boasts nine WWE Championship titles and five World Heavyweight Championship wins. His career is marked by memorable rivalries with iconic figures like The Rock, Mick Foley, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, and many others.

Since becoming WWE's chief content officer in 2022, Levesque has played a crucial role in shaping the company's "new era" following Vince McMahon's departure. His creative leadership has been central to WWE's programming.

Several of Levesque's WrestleMania matches, including those against Chris Benoit and Shawn Michaels at WrestleMania XX, John Cena at WrestleMania 22, and The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXIV, are widely regarded as some of the event's most iconic clashes.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony is typically held the Friday before WrestleMania, which, in this case, would be April 18th. As of now, Levesque is the sole inductee announced for the 2025 class.
