Ingraham: Department of Government Efficiency Will Expose Washington's Bureaucratic Excess

Fox News host Laura Ingraham expressed optimism on "The Ingraham Angle" about the potential of the newly formed Department of Government Efficiency to unveil the inner workings of the federal bureaucracy and hold officials accountable.

Ingraham likened the department's efforts to peeling back a "bureaucratic onion," anticipating revelations about the true activities of federal employees. She praised Elon Musk's involvement, comparing him to a combination of Steve Jobs, Albert Einstein, and Henry Ford, and suggesting his innovative prowess could bring much-needed progress to Capitol Hill in collaboration with the DOGE caucus.

Ingraham contrasted this approach with what she perceived as Vice President Kamala Harris's strategy of excessive borrowing and spending. She also highlighted the issue of many federal workers not returning to the office after the COVID-19 pandemic as an example of potential inefficiencies the department might address.

Ingraham's commentary suggests a belief that the Department of Government Efficiency will bring transparency and accountability to Washington, potentially uncovering wasteful practices and prompting reforms.
